I was selected as a Quilt Along Blogger for the Fat Quarter Shop (affiliate link) Hunter's Star Quilt Along that will be released in February. I am very happy to be participating. I really enjoyed working on theLady of the Lake and Jolly Jazz Bar Quilt Alongs with the Fat Quarter Shop. Today I picked out my fabrics. I will be making a table runner with the Hunter's Star pattern. I chose three colors of fabric for the top, a background fabric, and binding fabric. My fabric choices are in the photo below.

The batiks are from Connecting Threads (not an affiliate) and the background is a light blue Kona Cotton. All of the fabrics are from my stash. I think that I will use the green, orange, and blue batiks for the Hunter's star blocks and save the purple batik for the binding. However, once I get started, I may change my mind. I hope that you join me for the Quilt Along! On release day you can see my completed Table Runner. In other news, by popular request, the group that brought you I Wish You a Merry QAL! is working on a new quilt along for 2018. We had a blast with our first QAL, so when the I Wish You a Merry QAL! Facebook Group asked for another QAL, we decided to start the planning progress. More information is coming! Now it is your turn! I enjoy seeing your posts! You can link up your in-progress or completed piecing projects using the blue button with the frog below. Please note that the thumbnail photos and links will not show up on this page. You will need to click the blue frog button below to see the photos and links. This may be a little different from what you are used to. The link-up will be available until Saturday, February 3, 2018 at midnight. If you prefer, you can also link up on Instagram using #PiecefulSundayatJANDABendQuilts.
