Just in time for Flag Day (June 14) and the 4th of July! Join in the Fat Quarter Shop Quilt Along (affiliate link) and make a patriotic table runner. The pattern is even free! What could be better? I am thrilled to be one of the Fat Quarter Shop Bloggers for the Wave Your Flag Table Runner Quilt Along. The Fat Quarter Shop (affiliate link) let me pick fabric from their patriotic fabric lines. I chose Red & Blue and Roses Too! by Faye Burgos for Marcus Fabrics. I love these colors of red, white, and blue, and I love red roses as well. What a great combination. See the fabrics that I chose below. (The stripe of roses is for the binding.) This is a super easy pattern that is just right for lazy summer days. It consists of three Flag Blocks, eight Star Blocks, and border strips. That's it! First, I cut the fabrics and sewed the strips of fabrics as directed. Flag Blocks ( Make Three)
Star Blocks (Make Eight)
Assemble the Table Runner.
Quilt and bind. Then enjoy your table runner! How Can I Participate in the Fat Quarter Quilt Along? The pattern is free on the Fat Quarter Shop website, and you can even buy a quilt kit and backing set, if you wish. (These are not affiliate links.)
